ALMA is proud to launch its new collaboration in the Tablet4GoalBall project — an innovative Erasmus+ initiative designed to make Goalball more accessible and engaging for visually impaired athletes and spectators.
Together with the Technical University of Crete, the European Goalball Club Association, and top European Goalball clubs, we are developing a tactile touchscreen tablet that allows users to feel the ball’s movement and the players’ movements in real time.
This groundbreaking tool will enhance sports participation, training, and spectatorship for visually impaired people across Europe.
Through co-design, pilot testing, and international cooperation, Tablet4GoalBall aims to transform accessibility in Paralympic sport and set the foundation for future assistive technologies.
